Helius MediaWrite® gives organizations the ability to maximize the use of their bandwidth. By organizing and scheduling the multicast delivery of data files (video, audio, databases etc), use of the network can be managed so that mission critical applications are not impacted by data transfer. Using multicast technologies enables MediaWrite to deliver data to all locations simultaneously. Also, MediaWrite gives customers file validation and confirmation to ensure accurate delivery of all information. Helius MediaWrite is a simple, secure and reliable multicast, content distribution software product designed to deliver files up to 16 GB to any number of remote sites via satellite or terrestrial networks. MediaWrite gives customers the ability to schedule delivery and control access to the files using the Helius Management Console, a browser based tool. There are two components to the MediaWrite system, the Receiver and Server. The Server side functions include scheduling, compression and monitoring. The client software is installed at receiver sites (can be installed on the Helius MediaGate™ series). The combination of Server and Receivers gives the customer a complete solution which includes file validation, delivery confirmation, transport security, logging and tracking.
