Helius MediaLock™ provides IP Sec-based security for multicast data and granular conditional access control for data broadcasting infrastructures using Helius MediaGate™ Routers and Helius MediaWrite®. Helius MediaLock consists of client and server components which together provide a robust encryption solution for information transfer between Helius products. It is the world’s first software-only conditional access product that allows confidential content to be multicast in IP format over satellite and on LANs. The Helius MediaLock solution enables the update of keys manually or automatically from a remote location, reducing complexity and improving flexibility. Integration of security into the Helius data broadcasting solutions provides an inexpensive solution for secured satellite transmission. Management of the Helius MediaLock solution is done through the browser based Helius Management Console™.
