Helius Receives Additional Communications Patent

Patented Technology Key for IPTV and Digital Signage Implementations

LINDON, Utah -- November 15, 2006 -- Helius, Inc., announced the issuance of a new patent by the United States Patent Office. This new patent, “Method and System of Asymmetric Satellite Communications for Local Area Networks”, U.S. patent number 7,117,251, demonstrates the ongoing innovation that Helius is pursuing in IP video technologies.

Helius is using its patented knowledge and experience to integrate high bandwidth satellite networks with corporate data networks. This integration enables businesses to create their own IPTV networks and improve information flow internally and externally. Helius is actively involved in Digital Signage, Corporate Communication and Distance Learning projects that take advantage of a variety of broadband connectivity offerings.
